Procurement Policy

ALPHA's Basic Procurement Policy

The ALPHA group applies the following basic procurement policy to express and put into action its due respect for society and the environment and to ensure effective procurement in terms of quality, price, delivery time, and stable supply.

1. Strong Partnership
   We seek to build strong trust-based relationships with our suppliers to achieve mutual growth and development. We seek to do so by achieving close communications across a wide range of joint initiatives.
2. Transparent Transactions
   We implement a global open-door policy and offer fair, impartial business opportunities to procure quality parts, materials, and services in a timely manner.
   Our supplier selection is based on total performance assessments. Beyond simply quality, price, and delivery times of the goods procured, this includes the candidate supplier’s technical capabilities, reliability, and commitment to social responsibilities (CSR).
3. Strict Compliance
   To fulfill our social responsibilities, we comply with all applicable laws and regulations; exercise due respect for human rights; and manage personal and confidential information under rigorous controls. We ask our suppliers to implement similar compliance activities.
4. Green Procurement
   To help realize sustainable societies, we seek to advance environmental preservation and to make effective use of resources. We’re committed to green procurement, an initiative characteristic of the automobile industry as a whole. We ask our suppliers to pursue similar initiatives.
